It all started in Dunfermline, Scotland, back in 1991 when the first family computer was brought by Santa - an Amiga 1200. This was my gateway to computers, way beyond the BBC computers I'd used in school. As well as playing all the classics like Sensible Soccer, Championship Manager and Lemmings, I also liked to dabble in a bit of programming. Using AMOS I wrote a few simple card games and a football manager game. Moving on to the modern PC era, I moved on to DarkBasic Pro where I began to write more in depth software, leading on to AppGameKit and latterly AppGameKit Studio.
I've released a few football card games, the last one being Premier Picks Football Manager. I've also released a darts scoring app - Party Darts Scorer 2 (available on App Store and Google Play) - aimed specifically at getting a few friends round for a darts night with X01 and loads of fun party games to play like Killer, Cricket, Golf and more!
In 2015, I started to design an app for football clubs, releasing one for the amateur team I was playing for at the time. It was really just for the team for a bit of banter at the pub but after all positive feedback and even some enquiries from other local teams, I began designing some software that would allow any football club have their very own app for minimal cost. This led to the release of 'Starting 11 Stats'. But in 2020, I decided I wanted it to be better, so I got to work on this app and re-wrote pretty much the whole code of Starting 11 Stats, so 'Starting 11 Stats 2' wasn't going to cut it, it needed a new name - My Football Club App.
